Hello friends, this is your friend Sheikh Mustak “SAHIB” once again. And today I came with an article for the people who call themselves “FIMLY” the Bollywood movie buff. So friends if you are really filmy then you must watch these Bollywood flicks which I am going to tell you in this article. So enjoy reading and do watch these movies. Here we go…



Filmistan

FILMISTAN – A comedy film about a Bollywood movie buff. An average looking guy and an over-actor who thinks he could be a Bollywood superstar one day. But during a shoot, he was kidnapped by some Pakistani terrorist group by mistake instead of an American crew-member. The film sticks you on the chair from the very first scene, when our character ‘SUNNY SINGH’ (Sharib Hashmi) moans in front of the camera and the director asks him “YEH KYA KAR RAHE HO? YEH KOI CONDOM KA AD NAHI HAI”. And he says “CHOCOLATE KHA RAHA HOON MAZE LE LE KAR”. Later on, in Pakistan, he uses to do some hilarious Bollywood acts. Which create respect and love for him in the heart of Pakistani villagers.

Bollywood Diaries, Raima Sen, Aashish Vidyarthi

BOLLYWOOD DIARIES – A film which showcases the passion and madness of people about Bollywood. Where a prostitute ‘TITLI’ (Raima Sen) from Kolkata dreamt of being a Bollywood star. For that only reason, she refuses to go to Dubai. A man ‘ROHIT’ (Salim Diwan) who works in a call center and gives audition for an acting talent show and got selected by the judges, where he was used for the TRP of the program. A 52 years old man ‘VISHNU’ (Ashish Vidyarthi) who tried to do became an actor but surrendered to his wife and daughter for the sake of the family. But after her daughter's marriage, he takes voluntary retirement from his Govt. job to try his luck in Bollywood. Overall the movie shows passion, madness, and love about the Hindi Film Industry.

Bombay Talkies, Rani Mukherjee, Amitabh Bachchan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui

BOMBAY TALKIES – A film for the film lovers to celebrate the 100th year of Hindi Film Industry by four big directors of the current time with four beautiful stories.

Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh (by Karan Johar) is a story about a boy ‘AVINASH’ (Saqib Saleem), a married working women ‘GAYATRI’ (Rani Mukherjee) and her husband ‘DEV’ (Randeep Hooda). Avinash is a homosexual, who works with Gayatri. One day Avinash met Gayatri’s husband Dev. Avinash got attracted to him. One day Avinash kisses Dev. And when Avinash tells Gayatri, Gayatri broke-up with Dev. The only one of the four films which don’t have any Bollywood connection.

Star (by Dibakar Banerjee) is a story of ‘PURANDAR’ (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) who is a failed stage actor, who is trying to make a living after his father’s death. During the preparation of a scene for one film Purandar’s master’s spirit (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) tells him this is the last chance to prove himself.

Sheila Ki Jawani (by Zoya Akhtar) story about a 12 years old boy ‘VICKY’ (Naman Jain) who wants to be Bollywood dancer. His Father (Ranvir Shorey) wants him to be a sports person. But Vicky is a Katrina Kaif fan and loves dancing to Sheila Ki Jawani.

Murabba (by Anurag Kashyap). The most touching and full of madness film of the series. ‘VIJAY’ (Vineet Kumar Singh) travels to Mumbai to fulfill his father’s (Sudhir Pandey) the desire of getting a bite on a Murabba by the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. How he struggles for his father to get a bite on Murabba that was remarkable.
